A Bronze Axe (sometimes referred to as a bronze hatchet) is an axe which requires level 1 Attack to wield. It is automatically added to new player's inventories, and can be made from one bronze bar at level 1 Smithing, yielding 12.5 Smithing experience, or purchased from Bob's Axes in Lumbridge.

Like all woodcutting axes, it can be used to cut trees by players with any Woodcutting level.

It is the least powerful axe in RuneScape Classic, so it is recommended that one upgrades to a more efficient iron axe or better as soon as possible.
