A Large Rune Helmet is the second best helmet in RuneScape Classic. It requires level 40 Defense to wear and can be obtained as a drop from greater demons. They can also be smithed from two runite bars at level 92 Smithing, giving 150 experience.

Trivia

• The Large Rune Helmet was one of the five original runite items, as revealed by cache data. Prior to the 26 July 2001 update the item was violet (#CC99B2). This was later changed to cyan (#00FFFF).
