Square Shields

Square Shields are a type of shield held by the player in the shield slot. They provide fewer Armour points than their equivalent Kite Shield, though the Dragon Square Shield is the strongest shield available in RuneScape Classic. They can be made using the Smithing skill, shields up to Iron Square Shield can be purchased from Cassie's Shields store within Falador, or some can be received as a monster drop.

The Dragon Square Shield must be created at an anvil with a Smithing level of 60 by combining the right and left halves. The right half is purchased from the Legends' Guild Shop for 750,000 coins, while the left half is received as a drop from the Rare drop table.
