A Dwarven Stout is an alcoholic beverage that grants a temporary +1 boost to both Mining and Smithing, as well as restoring 1 Hits. It temporarily lowers the player's Attack, Strength, and Defense by 5%.

It can be purchased from a Barmaid at the Rising Sun Inn in Falador for 3 Coins. It can be used to mine or smith something for which the player does not yet have the required level. It can also be used to enter the Mining Guild at level 59. There are three spawns of it in the pass under the White Wolf Mountain that is unlocked after completing the Fishing Contest quest.
