The Protective trousers are an item obtained from Doctor orbon in the beginning of the Sheep Herder quest after paying him 100 coins. They cannot be obtained after completion of the quest.
The protective trousers are a rather unique item because they are the only item that can be worn in the Leg slot that isn't Plate Mail Legs, Plated Skirts, or a normal skirt. Like plate mail legs and plated skirts, protective trousers cannot be worn with boots.
Their appearance is a unique colouration of the standard trouser sprite.
