A Maple logs certificate is a certificate that is obtained by exchanging five maple logs with Chuck north of East Ardougne. Maple log certificates are stackable and each one can be exchanged back for five maple logs by talking to Chuck.
Because maple logs are not stackable and players can only trade twelve items per trade screen, they can be exchanged for certificates so that they can be traded easier and faster. However, in general, maple logs are not commonly traded.
