A Brass key is used to open a small building just west of Varrock. A ladder in this building leads to the Edgeville dungeon where players can find many monsters including hobgoblins, giants, zombies and skeletons.

A brass key can be obtained from a room in the dungeon near the ladder, in the south part of the dungeon near the Giants. This means that a player may have to enter the dungeon from Edgeville and travel to the key spawn from there if they do not obtain a key from another player.
