unfermented wine was an intermediate item of wine making, when the process did not require a cooking level. In the early days of RSC players got unfermented wines after adding grapes on a jug of water, which after going through fermentation would turn to wine. As the examine text suggests, it wasn't possible to drink unfermented wines.

Mechanics[edit | edit source]

  • In order for wine to ferment, the easiest and fastest method players would describe it as going to 18 "zone" changes, commonly done by going up and down the ladders[1][2]. If however, players did not chose that method, they would describe as getting wine after an hour or more[2], which was likely tied to the player walk arounds when skilling.

Aftermath[edit | edit source]

  • On 11 June 2001 the wine making process was changed to give wine or bad wines on completion, and all unfermented wines were replaced with bad wines.
