Underground Pass (location)
these caves are different..they're filled with the spirit of Zamorak
You can feel it as you wind your way through the stalactites..
an icy wind that penetrate's the very fabric of your being
not so many travellers come down here these days...
..but there are some who are still foolhardy enough
The Underground Pass is a dangerous network of tunnels that run underneath the Impassable Mountain Terrain. The player must traverse these tunnels during the Underground Pass quest during which it is learned that an evil mage named Iban has built a Zamorakian Temple within these tunnels, infecting it with evil. The tunnels end at the Well of Voyage which must be restored before anyone can pass into the lands beyond. However, the well is only restored in RuneScape 2, leading to the land of the elves, Tirannwn.
The entry location for the tunnels is in West Ardougne.

Iban's Temple[edit | edit source]
After passing Gate of Iban the huge platform area begins. In the middle of the gigantic cavern is the Zamorakian Temple and Pit of the Damned. The level is mostly inhabited by Souless and some Iban disciples near the temple. Just north east of the temple is an altar and a small cavity with item spawns of bread, crossbow, chocolate bomb and grapes. There are more crossbows and a Medium Iron Helmet further south near Kardia the Witch.
Dungeon Floor[edit | edit source]
The pit contains many Souless as well as spiders and Blessed Spiders in the north east. Perhaps the most interesting feature of the dungeon floor is Dwarven Camp in the south west corner. Klank, Niloof and Kamen live there by the anvils and a barrel of dwarf brew.
