- Pierre the Dog Handler: The Guards told me not to talk to anyone
Started the quest[edit | edit source]
- Player: I'm here to help the guards with their investigation
- Pierre the Dog Handler: How can I help?
- Who do you think is responsible?
- Player: Who do you think is responsible?
- Pierre the Dog Handler: honestly? I think it was Carol.
- Pierre the Dog Handler: I saw here in a huge argument with Lord Sinclair
- Pierre the Dog Handler: in the library the other day. It was something
- Pierre the Dog Handler: to do with stolen books. She definitely seemed
- Pierre the Dog Handler: upset enough to have done it afterwards
- Where were you at the time of the murder?
- Player: Where were you at the time of the murder?
- Pierre the Dog Handler: I was in town at the inn. When I got back
- Pierre the Dog Handler: The house was swarming with guards who told
- Pierre the Dog Handler: me what had happened. Sorry.
- Did you hear any suspicious noises at all?

- Pierre the Dog Handler: well, like what?
- Player: Any sounds of a struggle with Lord Sinclair?
- Pierre the Dog Handler: No, I don't remember hearing anything like that.
- Player: How about the guard dog barking at all?
- Pierre the Dog Handler: I hear him bark all the time.
- Pierre the Dog Handler: its[sic] one of his favorite things to do.
- Pierre the Dog Handler: I can't say I did the night of the murder though
- Pierre the Dog Handler: As I wasn't close enough to hear either way
