Shields are a piece of scenery found on some building and dungeon walls of Gielinor. There is no way to interact with it other than to examine it.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- This shield seems to have been designed during development of the Black knight's fortress quest, judging by its internal scenery id. The very first shields placed would seem to be the ones in White Knights Castle, based on that.
- There are shields on the walls of the Varrock king's throne room. These shields were added later with the release of Asgarnia, as can be seen by comparing the February 2001 map with the April 2001 map.
- In RuneScape 2, this shield design would be re-used as the shield of Lumbridge. Some additional "wall mounted shield with a sword behind it" designs were made for use in Varrock and Falador.
