Securing Your Account[edit | edit source]

If you believe someone has accessed your account, or has made any changes to your security preferences, you should read our security tips, then secure your account against further intrusion by following through these stages: (in this order)

a) check your computer for viruses/trojans using an up to date virus checker. If someone has installed a trojan on your computer it is VERY important to remove it or else they will take your password again and again. See for more information on how to deal with this

b) make sure your windows security is fully up to date. (by going to and pressing 'get and stay secure')

c) change your password to one nobody will guess

d) Reset your password-recovery questions

e) Don't tell ANYBODY your new password. Don't use it on ANY website other than itself. And be very careful about which programs you run on your computer to avoid catching a virus/trojan.
