Imps are a type of monster. They are unique in that they can be found wandering long distances over RuneScape Classic. Like most demons, imps drop ashes, but they also drop beads, which are needed for the Imp catcher quest. This is a common reason as to why imps are killed. They are not usually killed except by players wanting to collect beads to give to other players or complete Imp Catcher themselves.
