Gems are precious stones found through Mining rocks, dropped by monsters, or through panning for gold at the Digsite. Gems can be cut using a chisel depending on your Crafting level and the rarity of the gem. Gems can also be used with a gold bar to craft jewellery.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Andrew Gower accidentally released the ability to randomly obtain gems from rocks on 17 March 2001. This was considered a bug, and was reverted very shortly later. Gems would not be obtainable again for nearly 2 months, when jewelry crafting was properly released.[1]
